This seminar is a must for parents of children aged 6 and under. The day will be kicked off by a presentation from self-advocate Don Rettberg, who was reading before Kindergarten and included at a time when inclusion wasn’t the norm. He will be followed by a Special Education 101 session – everything you need to know to get the best possible start in public school. You will be armed with resources from DSACT, like the all-new Joint DSACT/ AISD Educator Manual. Finally, you will have the opportunity to ask questions of experienced parents who have been there!
